Journey to a Seeing Eye dog

I ended up taking a nice bath last night, eating a snack of some deredoes and trail mix, and then crashing at like 9, and I slept until 6, as we got a late wakeup call which was amazing. Got up, fed, watered, parked, she peed. Then got ready for the day. Breakfast was furina, sausage, toast, and orange juice. Its becoming real, that in 48 hours we'll be boarding the plane. IN 48 hours, Ellie and I will set off on our adventure, and this is just the beginning. Its so emotional for me, because I never thought this would happen. After all the things I've been through with dogs, I never thought I'd be given anotehr chance, I never thought I'd get such a wonderful match. I never drempt things would be this way, but I also know, and knew, that God is and has been in control of all this, and his plan is a perfect plan. I couldn't have drept this up, I couldn't have made this work, it was all him and all credit, all glory, all honor goes to him. He gives me strength, he helps me put one foot in front of another. Now if I can just figure this emotions stuff out, I'll be good. So today we're going to go take a train, and then a bus, and this afternoon I have therapy, a meeting with Gary the IT guy, we're going to do tap tap, and her vet visit. Its going to be super hot again. We loaded up and went down to the train station, and did some platform work, which she did great at. Then we got on the train and went to Madison. Then we walked over to Bagel Chateau. I had a blueberry bagel with butter and a Dr. Pepper. Then we walked to the bus stop, got on the bus, which di have audible announcements this time, and rode back to Morristown, and then got back in the van and headed back to the house. When we got back, she drank a bunch of water, its super hot with 88% humidity, and then began chasing her tail and falling over, lol. Now she's off practicing tap tap with JT and we have free time until water park. JT brought her back and we practiced Tap Tap a little, and then I did a quick set of off leash obedience with her, and now we're just waiting for park time. Its so amazing to me, none of my other dogs ever had this level of obedience and responsiveness, and that's something it seems like they have worked on extensively. Had park time, she peed. Then we just had free time til lunch. On the way to lunch we did suid cage work, where there was potato chips in a cage, and the dogs had to work past it. She did much better than yesterday's cookie. Then lunch was nacho salad which was amazing, peanutbutter pie, and coke. Then I parked her again, and she peed. Then I had therapy which was very therapudic. Then we loaded up and went to Whole foods, where we practiced using a public restroom, doing some OCS, and getting some fruit. Then we came back to the house. We did not have our meeting with Gary because he was busy apparently. We then had our vet visit which went well. She's had 1 ear infection which I caught, 1 hot spot, which I knew about, and an eye infection last year. She's 22.5 inches tall, and their weights were wrong, she's actually 65.8 pounds, which I thought she was about 65. We also got our years supply of flea, tic, and heartworm meds. Now we just have free time until feed water park. Feed water park, she did both, and now just waiting for dinner. Dinner was ribs, mashed potatoes, chocolate chip pound cake, rolls, and coke. Then I took a bath, just in time because as soon as I got out it started thundering, and then put laundry in. Its getting real. Now we just have free time until water park.
