I slept well last night, and ended up actually sleeping in a little. Then we had feed water park, she peed. Got ready. Breakfast was tacos, which were amazing actually, except I'm used to having breakfast tacos in flour instead of corn tortillas, but seriously good. Orange juice and coke. Then we came back and relaxed a little and got laundry put in, then forgot about it and went and changed it. We also had some play time with Mr. Dinosaur we've named Barney, don't judge. Now we just have free time until JT gets back from the airport. Oh and at breakfast we had breakfast with Joan and she's been here for 32 years, so it was fascinating to pick her brain, and to get her perspective. She compares shepherds to just graduated college students who need to find a job, labs to rebellious teenagers, and goldens to nursery school students. I think tis is accurate and not in a bad way at all. I love my golden and would not trade her for anything. She loves her dinosaur, her ball, and her bone, but she also loves me and loves to cuddle and to get pets and scratches, and will useh er paws to show me just ehre to scratch. She's got so many nicknames from El, Ells, Ella, Ellie Belly, Ellie bug, pretty girl, etc. though Ellie Belly is probably the most usesed these days. Her memory is amazing which is something I love about the goldens. She's also very vareful and also she thinks, she'll see something and show me with a slight hesitation, and if I don't want the thing a no, hup up, and we're on our way. I love this in a dog, its so helpful and useful. JT called around 10, and we headed out and parked, she peed. Then we went for a walk around Lowes. Now we have free time until lunch. Lunch was chicken tordalini soup, lemon grilled chicken which reminded me very much of the Margarita grilled chicken from Chili's, lemon marang pie, and coke. Then we loaded up and headed to the mall. I got a pair of flip flops from the dollar store because I really needed a 2nd pair of shoes, and Ellie ended up with an air tag. She just couldn't resist the apple store, you know, and its useful. Then we drove back and have a bit of free time until feed water park time. Had feed water park, she peed. Then dinner was stuffed shells, garlic bread, chocolate chip cake, and coke. Now we just have free time until water park.
